How do I use the ÃÛÖ­TV application?

Students can create a ÃÛÖ­TV application account to begin, complete and check the status of an application as well as sign up for ÃÛÖ­TV events.

Create a ÃÛÖ­TV Application Account

Students who applied to ÃÛÖ­TV through ApplyTexas or the Common Application can also create an account to check their application status by requesting a "new" password on the . Note: It may take up to 48 hours for your Common App or Apply Texas application to be imported into the ÃÛÖ­TV application portal.

Already have a ÃÛÖ­TV Application Account?

Follow the instructions below to start your application, access your application status, track your submitted application items and register for admission events.

If you applied through ApplyTexas or the Common Application, you’ll need to set up a ÃÛÖ­TV application account to track your admissions status, but you do not need to complete another ÃÛÖ­TV application. We bring your information from these other applications into the ÃÛÖ­TV account for you.

Great! You can login to your ÃÛÖ­TV account using the credentials you provided when you submitted your application.

Click on the ÃÛÖ­TV application for your student type:

  • (non-traditional online or in-person classes)

You can still create a ÃÛÖ­TV account and keep up with the status of your application. Your ApplyTexas or Common Application will be linked to the ÃÛÖ­TV Application portal where you can track your missing application items and register for admissions events. Note: If you have already started or submitted an application to ÃÛÖ­TV through ApplyTexas or Common Application, do not start a new application in your ÃÛÖ­TV account to avoid duplicate applications.

Sign in to your ÃÛÖ­TV account using your email and your password. If you forgot your password, don’t worry! It’s easy to reset it by choosing the "Forgot Your Password" option in the login window. If you still have trouble logging in, you can contact the Office of Admissions at admission@uiwtx.edu.

You should see a welcome message with the text “Your applications are waiting.”

  • Here, you can:
    • View your application status:
      • To Be Reviewed: The Admissions team has not yet reviewed your application. If anything is needed, we will contact you.
      • In Review: Your application is currently being processed.
      • Admitted: You have been admitted to the ÃÛÖ­TV. Congratulations!
      • Not Admitted: We are unable to offer you admission at this time.
      • Withdrawn: Your application has been withdrawn.
    • Finish filling out an application you have already started.
      • Select “Open” next to the application you would like to complete and submit.
    • Start a new application.

If you forgot your password, you can easily reset it from the sign in page and select the “Forgot Your Password” link. If you need login assistance, please contact the Office of Admissions at admission@uiwtx.edu.

If you are locked out of your ÃÛÖ­TV application account, please contact the Office of Admissions at admission@uiwtx.edu. The Office of Admissions will reset your password and send you a temporary password to your personal email account. Use this temporary password to log in to your ÃÛÖ­TV account and create a new password.

How do I check my application status for one of the Health Professions Schools?

Prospective students to the health professions schools apply in the Centralize Application System (CAS). The application process involves an invitation to interview along with other steps. Click on each school for information on the complete application process and contact with that school’s admissions team.
